About this file
This is Addendum 01 to a solicitation issued by the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) for fabric supplies to support the Tabor City Sewing Plant. The primary modification clarifies that the contract will furnish and deliver 60-inch double knit pique fabric in 100 percent polyester and collars in multiple colors, replacing the initial reference to optic white broadcloth fabric alone. The fabric will be supplied on an as-needed basis for processing North Carolina Corrections Enterprises (NCCE) products and services. Bids are due September 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM. The state does not guarantee minimum or maximum purchase volumes during the contract period. Prospective bidders may request fabric samples by submitting a pre-paid shipping label to the purchasing agent, Lorraine Middleton at lorraine.middleton@dac.nc.gov.
This is an Agency Specific Term Contract, which limits competition to a single awarded vendor. The addendum addresses vendor questions and clarifications regarding the solicitation requirements. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by selecting one of three options on the addendum form and submitting a properly executed copy prior to the solicitation opening date and time. The contract aligns with Governor Cooper's Executive Order 80 regarding climate change mitigation and sustainability requirements. No specific contract value, contract term length, pricing structure, or evaluation criteria are disclosed in the available addendum materials. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
