About this file
This is Addendum #01 for Cleveland Community College's CM@R Student Center project (Bid #89-20250212), issued on February 27, 2024, with a bid opening date of March 6th, 2024. The addendum addresses technical questions regarding a broadcast studio setup, specifically clarifying requirements for equipment including UPS systems, network connectivity, and IFB systems.
The addendum clarifies that a UPS system is not required for the rack equipment, as current equipment uses standard wall outlets without significant amperage needs. The Netgear switch will be used to connect studio equipment and provide internet connectivity for live streaming capabilities on YouTube for events like political forums and breaking news. Regarding the IFB system, which was specified as a "nice to have" item, the requirement is for 4 transmitters and receivers, with no other optional equipment needed for quotation.

IMPORTANT ADDENDUM

CM@R Student Center
Bid Number:89-20250212 Commodity: 811115 Addendum #: 01 Cleveland Community College Purchaser: Lance Ashley Opening Date/Time: March 6th, 2024
Answer to questions:
1. Did you want a UPS for the rack equipment? How much power does the current system draw? We talked briefly about this while there.
No, a UPS is not needed. Right now, our equipment is plugged into normal wall outlets. I am not expecting to need that much more amperage.
2. With the Netgear switch, is this being added to an existing network or would we be setting up a new network?
The Netgear switch would be used to link everything in the studio and be able to connect to the internet also.
We would like to have the option to stream content out live on YouTube from the studio if we have a political forum, breaking news, etc…
3. The IFB system was listed as a "nice to have" during the walkthrough, are there any other optional options we should quote? No
For the IFB system, How many transmitters and receivers?
4 Transmitters & Receivers would be ideal.
