About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Invitation to Bid (ITB-24-106) for the SE 162nd Ave Extension Project issued by the North Clackamas School District. The project involves the construction of a new roadway at SE 162nd Avenue and a new driveway at Scouters Mountain Elementary School, including site work, utilities, lighting, signage, and landscaping. The addendum provides clarification on the scope of work for the street lighting, confirms the availability of native topsoil, and provides a virtual link for the bid opening. It also confirms that the appropriate General Conditions are provided as an exhibit to the solicitation documents.
The solicitation does not include an engineer's cost estimate. The contractor will be responsible for trenching, J-boxes, conduit, and other related infrastructure, while the local utility, Pacific Gas & Electric (PGE), will install the poles, lights, and make the final connections. Soil testing will be required to assess the suitability of the native topsoil for the planting areas, and strippings are not allowed in the pond areas where specialized water quality media is required.
