About this file

This document is an Addendum to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Westborough Public Schools for their SARS-CoV-2 Screening Testing Pilot Program. The IFB is seeking a vendor to provide PCR pool testing, reflex testing, and home collection kits for asymptomatic screening of students, staff, and school contacts. The program requires a 24-hour or less turnaround time for test results. The school district does not have an existing physician to order the tests, and will be utilizing designated sites for the return of home collection kits on scheduled dates. The school will assist in inviting participants to sign up for the screening program, but the vendor will not be allowed to offer testing to parents for a fee.

The IFB specifies that no antigen testing will be accepted, and the vendor must provide FDA-approved or authorized PCR tests. The school district will not be providing any space, utilities, or internet for the testing. Pricing and billing terms are not addressed in the Addendum, nor are any set-asides, incumbent information, or funding sources mentioned.
