About this file

This document is an addendum to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Westborough Public Schools for the Safer Teachers, Safer Students: SARS-CoV-2 Screening Testing Pilot Program. The addendum addresses questions from bidders regarding the submission of subcontractor lists, as well as the District's preferred consent process for student testing. Bidders must provide the name and services of any subcontractors, as well as their credentials and licenses. The District does not have a specific preference for the consent process, but anticipates a combination of online, email, and paper-based methods will be required.

ADDENDA 2

Invitation for Bids

Safer Teachers, Safer Students: SARS‐CoV‐2 Screening Testing Pilot Program

Q. The IFB states that Bidders must supply a list of subcontractors and specific services outsourced to be used during the contract, if applicable. Is there a format that this subcontractor list should follow? Can you advise whether the District would like any information beyond subcontractor name and services to be provided?

A. Information beyond subcontractor name and services provided would include their credentials and licenses.

Q. Can you advise if the District has a preferred process/format for obtaining consent for student testing from parents and guardians? We have created different consent processes with other organizations ‐ via email, internal communication tools like Aspen, or paper‐based forms ‐ but it would be helpful to understand whether the District has a preferred methodology for this pilot program.

A. At this point Westborough Public Schools I does not have a preference. Most likely there will be a need for a combination of online, an email with a link to forms and paper.
