About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to Invitation to Bid No. FW-001-24 issued by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR) for the Camp Webb Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Replacement project located in Carter, Kentucky. The addendum was issued on October 18, 2023, and clarifies requirements and specifications related to the electrical and mechanical systems for the WWTP replacement. Key clarifications address site visit limitations, material storage and billing procedures, electrical raceway preferences, control panel specifications, generator placement, and drawing corrections. The document confirms that Sheet 9 should be deleted from the project drawings, establishes that the panel schedule on Sheet E2 note 2 is the correct version, and removes requirements for an alarm horn and silence push button from the generator plug box detail. Contractors are required to coordinate the exact generator location in the field at the approximate location shown on Sheet E5.

The addendum specifies that no additional site visits beyond those already conducted will be accommodated for measuring underground footage. Material and equipment storage not incorporated into the project must comply with General Conditions Section 18.2.2, with retainage held on such items and specific storage standards detailed in technical specifications. The existing power source must remain in service until the new plant is operational, with no provisions required in new electrical equipment for the existing blower that will remain during construction. Interruption of existing power is addressed in Specification Section 26 05 04. A site visit sign-in sheet was attached to the addendum, documenting attendees including Kyla Satterly of KDFWR.

1. Question - When can I make another site visit to roll underground footages?

Answer – We cannot accommodate additional site visits.

2. Question – With the possibility of this project’s completion being delayed till after the summer season, will we be allowed to bill 100% for stored materials and equipment that may not get installed prior to the delay? Will this need to be stored on site or will our warehouse be adequate?
