About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by King William County Public Schools in Virginia for a roof replacement project at Cool Spring Primary School. The addendum provides clarification on several questions raised by potential bidders, including the acceptability of alternate manufacturers, the extent of work required for the curb and wall sheet metal flashings, the treatment of the copper counterflashing, the inclusion of walk pads, and the removal and reinstallation of the coping. The addendum confirms that alternative manufacturers are acceptable, that the lower counterflashing will be removed and replaced, and that the copper counterflashing will be removed and the membrane installed up and over the wall. The addendum also states that walk pads are not part of the original bid but should be added as an option, and that the coping will not be removed and reinstalled.
