About this file
This is an Added Data document specifying product requirements for cut-resistant gloves under federal contract (Document Number 61497902, NIIN: LLS054560).
The gloves must meet ANSI Cut Level 3 as a minimum standard and achieve a minimum ANSI 105-2011 Dexterity Classification of Level 3. The gloves must contain UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) or HPPE (high-performance polyethylene) fibers and feature rubber coating on the palm, fingers, and thumbs. Easily identifiable ANSI cut-resistance markings must be visible on the back of the glove, on the glove tag, or through other distinguishable markings. The gloves cannot be solid yellow or orange in color. An ANSI Report of Test Data documenting cut level and dexterity classification is required to be submitted with the initial shipment.
