This is Addendum No. 1 for DCF ITB 2425 040, issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families for the Northeast Florida State Hospital (NEFSH) Laundry Upgrade Project. The addendum, dated November 21, 2024, modifies the contract specifications with responses due by December 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm. All work must be completed and paid in full by December 31, 2026, with the Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued after contract signing and approval of submittals.
The addendum clarifies scope divisions between base bid and Alternate #2, specifically detailing that gas lines, valves, new return duct work (Exhibit L page M-3103 numbers 6-9), and electrical equipment including new gear and power to HVAC disconnects are included in the base bid. Alternate #2 encompasses pipe connections from valves to units, conduit and wire from disconnect to unit, and associated duct work. The project scope includes all required equipment and installation, covering gas lines, dryers, electrical work, architectural modifications, and mechanical systems, to be executed in a multi-phase operation.

IN reference to this bid that was just posted, as we are the current equipment manufacturer, I was wondering if this phase of the project is solely for the gas line and block walls or will this also include actual new equipment?
Refer to Exhibit L Technical Specifications and Drawings. This Project is for all required equipment and equipment installation. This includes gas line, dryers, electrical, architectural work, and all mechanical work in the building. Also, refer to General Services Standard Contract Part 2 this includes the Scope of work, which includes what work is required and the sequence and multi-phase operation.
