Kitchen Utility Monitoring RFP Bid Notice
This is a Bid Notice for a Kitchen Utility Monitoring Request for Proposal issued by the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District (ABSD) in Michigan. The RFP seeks proposals for the implementation and management of a comprehensive kitchen utility monitoring system designed to track and optimize energy and water consumption across the district's food service operations. The bidding process requires interested vendors to submit proposals by the specified deadline, with responses evaluated based on technical capability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the district's operational goals. The contract will involve installation of monitoring equipment, data collection and reporting systems, and ongoing technical support to help reduce utility expenses and improve operational efficiency in school kitchen facilities.
The RFP establishes specific pricing and performance expectations, with proposals evaluated on both cost and qualitative factors including system reliability, vendor experience, and support services. The contract term and any renewal options are subject to the district's budgetary approval and performance satisfaction. Funding for this initiative derives from the district's operational budget allocated for facility improvements and utility cost reduction initiatives. Interested bidders should review all technical specifications, system requirements, and evaluation criteria detailed in the complete RFP documents to ensure their proposals address all mandatory requirements and demonstrate clear value delivery to the district's kitchen operations and sustainability objectives.
