2. Section C.7.1 mentions developing an FSR certification test. Can more details be provided on the specific content areas this test should cover?

The test would include questions on electronics, hydraulics, power management and the fire control systems on the tank. Having knowledge on how to repair cables and what cables should not be repaired. A working knowledge of the power pack and transmission along with the main cannon and gun mount, suspension system and fuel system on the tank. These are just a few of the items the test would cover

3. Is this a recompete of previous contracts or a new requirement?

This is a new compete of a contract.

4. If this is a recompete effort, who is the incumbent? What is the current contract award number and amount?

This is a first-time competitive action of an ongoing effort. The ongoing effort is being completed as part of the Abrams Systems Technical Support (STS) contract W56HZV-22-C- 0012, whom the incumbent is General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS). The portion of this contract which accounts for this effort is approximately $300M.
