Vendor Questions

1. Will sample tasks be set aside for small business to propose to?

Answer: Yes, the Government anticipates at least one (1) sample task set aside for small business.

2. Does a small business have to propose to the sample task set aside in order to compete for MAC task order set asides?

Answer: The Government does not intend to award any of the sample tasks initially; therefore, a small business does not have to propose specifically to the sample task set aside in order to on ramp and compete for any (set aside included) MAC task orders. However, an offeror must propose to at least one of the sample task on the RFP.

3. Will small business have to propose to a sample task in order to on ramp to the

MAC?

Answer: Yes, all businesses must propose to a sample task in order to on ramp to the MAC.

4. Are we allowed to propose to all sample tasks?

Answer: Yes, the Government encourages offerors to propose to all sample tasks that are within their capability. The exception is the sample task set aside, which is reserved for small business.

5. What is the Draft RFP/Advance Notice timeline?

Answer: The Government has not determined the Draft RFP/Advance Notice timeline. Please monitor fbo.gov for updates.

6. When do you anticipate awarding the ABM MAC?

Answer: The Government anticipates award in the 4 th

Quarter of FY 18.

7. When do you anticipate issuing the RFP?

Answer: The Government anticipates issuing the RFP by the end of the 1 st

Quarter FY 17. Please monitor fbo.gov for updates to this timeline.

8. What is the timeline from MAC award to Task Order award?

Answer: The Government anticipates that the timeline from MAC award to

Task Order award will be approximately 30 days. Please monitor fbo.gov for updates to this timeline.

9. When will we know if there are updates?

Answer: The Government will post 4.11 Quarterly brief with any significant changes to this requirement to fbo.gov

10. Are you going to release a list of attendees? Will they include Government

Representatives?

Answer: Yes, the Government will provide a list of industry day attendees and contracting office Government representatives through fbo.gov.

11. Will a pre-solicitation conference be held?

Answer: No, the Government does not intend to hold a pre-solicitation conference, but will provide an advance/draft copy of the RFP for vendor review and comment.

12. Will tripwires apply?

Answer: Tripwires do not currently apply to this requirement, but applicability is subject to change. Please monitor fbo.gov for updates.

13. How many large and small prime contracts are expected to be awarded?

Answer: The number of large and small prime contracts awarded will be determined based on the number of capable offers received.
