3. GROUNDING
Creation of an earth connection for the protection of the building. This ground circuit will be connected to the protection cabinet via a control strip.
Earth connection
The earthing of the building will be realized by the installation, at the bottom of the excavation, of a bare copper cable with a minimum section of 29 mm² or a galvanized steel cable with a minimum section of
95 mm², surrounding the building before the execution of the clean concrete works. The connections on the metallic masses will be done by exothermic systems.
Grounding of the operating masses
The earth connection will be made to a COSGA type strip to be installed near the switchboard.
Downstream of this strip, the grounding network will allow the connection:
-All metallic masses that could be accidentally energized.
-Metal frames according to NF C 15-100, And NEC code
-Electrical distribution cabinets, including front panels.
-From the ground pin of the plugs.
-Metal casings of all electrical components.
-Lighting fixtures.
-From the ground terminal available to other trades.

Wall penetrations
Penetrations shall be sealed in such a way that they do not reduce the fire-resistance rating of the walls in question. In the area of the cable trays, the sealing process must allow for the easy installation of additional cables.
6. DIVISIONAL CABINETS
Envelope
They will be of modular design, type LEXIC 135 or XL 195 from LEGRAND or similar, with mounting plates, removable faceplates, doors and sealing kit when required by the installation site.
