1. Scope

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for one (1) seat of the current version of VeriSurf Renishaw UCC CMM Programming and inspection Suite software and recurring licenses. The VeriSurf software is used to program and inspect parts fully utilizing the REVO scanning inspection head, including but not limited to the REVO touch, REVO Scanning, REVO SFP2 (surface finish), and REVO RUP1 (automated thickness measurement) probes. The software shall be a non-internet connected (stand-alone) single graphical user interface (GUI) that will import various CAD files including but not limited to SoildEdge, Soildwork, etc. The software shall support all touch 2D and 3D inspections with or without a CAD file, have automatic path generation, virtual simulation and interactive collision detection, and GD&T analysis and reporting. The Navy will require one (1) perpetual license with twelve (12) months maintenance agreement and four (4) options for renewal of the twelve (12) months maintenance agreement renewals.

1.1 Background

The Dispenser Design and Prototype Branch features an inspection lab that contains several CMM systems which are currently controlled using CMM-Manager software. The addition of a REVO scanning inspection head a few years back has proved that CMM-Manger cannot fully utilize the REVOs abilities. The REVO scanning inspection needs to function correctly on the equipment and allows the inspection lab to be in compliance for proper Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT) of manufactured items delivered to the Government. The Navy uses the machines to support a variety of government programs and must maintain the functionality of the equipment to provide continuous support to all programs.
