About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a 5-year service contract with the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), Code 134, to provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for a Peak Scientific Genius XE35 120V Nitrogen Generator.
The contractor must provide preventative and corrective maintenance services including annual preventive maintenance visits, on-demand corrective maintenance with a maximum 5-business-day response time, factory-certified parts and labor, software updates, and remote diagnostics. Services operate during normal business hours (0715-1600 Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays and facility closures) at the PSNS&IMF laboratory located at 1400 Farragut Avenue, Bremerton, Washington 98314. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all supplies, equipment, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the work. A critical requirement is that all maintenance must be performed by a service engineer certified by Peak Scientific (the original equipment manufacturer) for the Genius XE35 120V Nitrogen Generator, with proof of training and certification required before contract award. The contractor must provide a Field Service Report following each service visit describing the problem and solution. Performance metrics include one preventive maintenance visit annually, corrective maintenance service initiation within 5 business days, and equipment verification within manufacturer tolerances. Contractor personnel require security clearance (green badge equivalent) to access the controlled industrial area and must maintain this clearance throughout the contract period. A contract manager must be designated in writing to oversee performance.
