About this file

This is a revised feature work list attachment for the PKAA Querida Phase 2 Project in Colorado, detailing mine opening closure specifications and requirements. The document provides comprehensive information on eleven guaranteed closure projects and two contingent projects involving various mine features including prospect shafts, adits, and other excavations requiring remediation. The work encompasses multiple closure methods including machine backfill, corrugated steel pipe installations with bat ladders, bat grate sections, polyurethane foam closures, and steel grated shaft closures. Features range in size from small prospect shafts to large openings exceeding 29 feet by 31 feet, with depths varying from 7 feet to over 100 feet. All features include specific locations identified by UTM coordinates in NAD83 format, with detailed work descriptions and material requirements specified for each closure method.

The scope includes extensive stormwater sediment control measures requiring excelsior waddles installation on the downstream side of working areas, with quantities ranging from 25 to 50 linear feet per feature. Specific projects require additional materials such as 23 cubic yards of imported rockfill for feature Q02, concrete footers and W6x20 steel beams for the steel grated shaft closure at TH01, and 50 cubic yards of polyurethane foam for feature Q07. Road grading totaling 176 linear yards is necessary to access features TH01 and TH02. The document distinguishes between guaranteed work items presented in Table 1 and two not-guaranteed contingent features in Table 2, allowing for flexible project scope based on final site conditions and assessment.
