About this file
This document is a Justification for Brand Name Procurement for Daikin HVAC equipment and services. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is establishing a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for maintenance, inspection, repairs, and verification of proper operation of the Daikin HVAC system at the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. The HVAC system includes 3 outdoor condensers, 18 ceiling cassettes, 7 fan coil units, and 2 energy recovery/dedicated outdoor air systems. The procurement is justified because the equipment requires service by trained, authorized Daikin representatives to function properly and avoid equipment damage. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses that are registered in SAM.gov and authorized Daikin representatives. The Government will determine pricing fair and reasonable based on responses received. Future requirements that do not need Daikin-authorized maintenance will be competed separately.
