ALL INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY
This is a request for information (RFI)/sources sought notice (SSN), issued in accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(e), to conduct market research. This RFI/SSN is issued solely for market research, information, and planning purposes. It does not constitute either a request for quotation (RFQ); nor is it a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This RFI/SSN does not commit the Government to solicit or contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The National Park Service (NPS) is not seeking quotes at this time. Unsolicited Quotes shall not be accepted. Phone Calls shall not be accepted.
IAW FAR 52.215-3 The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI/SSN or to otherwise pay for any information requested. Any response to this notice shall be used for market research and any information or pricing provided does not constitute a quote or promise to acquire the products/services described herein.
The Government shall not pay for costs incurred while responding to this RFI/SSN. Vendors who do not respond to this RFI/SSN may still participate in any future RFQ. Information submitted in response to this RFI/SSN is strictly voluntary and becomes Government property. In addition, information received in response to this RFI/SSN will be utilized solely for market research and shall only be considered within 12 months of receipt.
This RFI/SSN is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this posting or any follow-up information requests. This notice is a market research tool to help the NPS develop and decide on the most advantageous acquisition strategy.
The NPS, Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (NR MABO) is seeking capable contractors to provide Spray Foam Insulation Installation at Many Glacier Cabins 2 & 3 in Glacier National Park.
Additional time will not be provided for this source’s sought notice as this is just market research.
Anticipated period of performance 4/14/2026 – 5/15/2026.

Sample SOW MG Cabin 2 & 3 Stem wall insulation Spray Foam Insulate 24” tall exterior crawl space stem walls, 12” tall rim boards and access panels under two separate 26’ x18’ cabins located at the Many Glacier Ranger Station Administrative Complex west of Babb, MT in the Northeast corner of Glacier National Park. Please be aware this is a remote rural location 132 miles from Kalispell, Montana. NO park service accommodation is available for contractor use. There are limited services available seasonally in St Marys, Montana. Browning or Cutbank MT are the nearest communities providing common basic services.
The total lineal feet of wall to be sprayed is 176 feet or 88 feet per cabin. Spray full depth of 3.5” studs. These cabins are new construction installed in the summers of 2024 & 2025. The stem walls are 24" high, rims are 12" for a total of 36" high by a total lineal feet of 176 feet for both cabins. A total of 528 square feet of spray foam insulation 3.5" thick. Also install a vapor barrier with taped seems on the ground in one cabin covering 468 square feet, this is already complete in one of the cabins.
Installation will need to be scheduled with NPS staff and is dependent on site availability which may be impacted by lingering snowpack.
