About this file

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the restoration and recommissioning of a FICAM-compliant Physical Access Control System (PACS) issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management New Mexico Region. The notice seeks information from potential contractors regarding their capabilities, experience, and capacity to support this project, which involves restoring and bringing back into operational status an existing federal information security access control system. The solicitation number is 140L1726Q0027, and this is classified as a pre-solicitation opportunity, meaning a formal Request for Proposal or similar solicitation document will follow.

The Sources Sought Notice functions as a market research tool to identify qualified sources before the formal procurement process begins. Interested contractors should provide information about their technical qualifications, relevant experience with FICAM-compliant systems, project management capabilities, past performance, staffing resources, and pricing estimates. Responses to this notice do not constitute formal bids and will not result in contract awards; however, contractors who respond may be included on the bidder's list for the subsequent formal solicitation. Potential respondents should monitor the Federal Procurement Data System and SAM.gov for the release of the formal solicitation announcement and associated documentation, which will contain specific requirements, evaluation criteria, response deadlines, and award timelines.
