About this file

This document is a Draft Site Visit Posting for a federal contract opportunity related to the Joes Valley Campground Restoration project. The Manti-La Sal National Forest is planning to issue a solicitation for a chip seal paving project along with campground updates and improvements such as tables, fire rings, and campsite widening at the Joes Valley Campground on the Ferron/Price Ranger District. This site visit is being held on November 13, 2021 to allow prospective vendors to inspect the project site prior to the solicitation being issued, which is expected in April or May 2025. The estimated magnitude of the construction project is between $500,000 - $800,000. The intent of the site visit is to ensure vendors can view the work areas before heavy snowfall, but it does not commit the government to award a contract based solely on this visit nor will it pay any costs incurred by vendors in response to this announcement. The point of contact is Casey Miller at casey.miller@usda.gov.
