About this file
This document is a Specifications file for the procurement of UCR Fish Screens under the Upper Colorado River Recovery Program by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
The USFWS is seeking to procure nine (9) fish screens consisting of 6 panels, with each panel measuring 48 inches wide by 80 inches long. Screens must be constructed of metal suitable for submersion in water, preferably aluminum for weight considerations, and mounted in metal frames for installation into an existing water control structure. Screen material must feature rounded bars rather than wedgewire-style construction to prevent injury to small fish, with aperture width between bars less than ½-inch to exclude fish wider than that dimension. The screens are intended to prevent fish from entering a water control structure into a wetland site. All pricing must be quoted FOB Destination, with the contractor responsible for all delivery, packing, marking, and damage liability through delivery to the consignee location at 445 West Gunnison Ave., Suite 140, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Product must be delivered no later than X days after receipt of order, with the contractor required to contact the Technical Point of Contact, Travis Francis (Travis_francis@fws.gov; 970-287-9346), no later than three days prior to delivery to arrange a specific delivery time. The delivery truck must be equipped with a liftgate, and the consignee will not provide labor or equipment for unloading. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted by the USFWS Contracting Officer's Representative in accordance with FAR 52.212-4(a).
