About this file
This is a Pesticide Application Record (PAR) documenting a herbicide treatment application conducted by Weeds Gone Buh Bye, LLC for the Bureau of Land Management Elko District under Contract Number 140L0620C0014 for the Crane Spring Herbicide Weed Treatment project.
The treatment was applied on June 5, 2020, across 40 acres targeting Scotch thistle at 10 percent estimated cover in the pre-bud rosette plant phenology stage. The application used ground-based spot spray delivery at a calibration rate of 20 gallons per acre, with 800 gallons of mix applied on site. Weather conditions ranged from 61°F to 84°F with relative humidity between 46 and 35 percent and wind speeds averaging 2 to 3 miles per hour. Nevada Licensed Applicator John Doe (#516009) supervised a five-member crew consisting of Jane Austin, George Washington, Jack White, and Anna Smith. Two chemical products were applied: Tordon 22k (Picloram at 16 fluid ounces per acre) manufactured by DowAgro Sciences and Escort XP (Metsulfuron methyl at 1 ounce per acre) manufactured by Bayer Environmental Sciences. Two adjuvants were added: Activator 90 at 0.25 percent solution and Hi-Light at 0.25 percent solution. The treatment covered BLM PUP numbers NVE000-19-009-P (Picloram) and NVE000-19-008-P (Metsulfuron methyl), with associated tracklog files documenting the application coordinates.
