About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey requirements for the Blackfeet Community Hospital. The vendor will submit and analyze monthly inpatient discharge data, conduct interviews, and report results to the Quality Net national website, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Critical tasks include performing 100% data abstraction on hospital monthly inpatient discharges, verifying population and sampling numbers, and monitoring program communications to ensure ongoing compliance with CMS guidelines.
The contract period of performance spans one base year from 12/01/2025 to 11/30/2026, with four potential one-year option periods extending through 11/30/2030. The project's three primary objectives are to: 1) produce objective patient care data for hospital comparisons, 2) create incentives for hospitals to improve care quality, and 3) enhance healthcare accountability through transparent reporting. Failure to meet requirements could result in a 2% annual reduction in Medicare reimbursement, underscoring the importance of precise and comprehensive survey execution.
