The roof of the maintenance facility has approximately 2,240 square feet of usable space for installation. The solar panel system should produce approximately 20 kilowatts (kW) Direct Current (DC) of electric power for powering a fleet of electric vehicles and powering the maintenance garage. The roof of the maintenance garage is flat, and the panels should be arranged appropriately to optimize the amount of electric generation. Installation shall connect to the exiting electrical room in the facility.
