About this file
This document is a Description/Specifications/Statement of Work for a Reverse Osmosis (RO) System with specific technical requirements. The procurement involves two Veolia Water Technologies PROflex LT4-2 Reverse Osmosis Units, each with a Clean-In-Place (CIP) subsystem and a Sodium Metabisulfite (SMBS) pretreatment subsystem. The RO system must use AK4040FM membranes or equivalent, with detailed performance specifications including a 2.00 gpm design permeate flow, 75.0% recovery rate, and operating at temperatures and pressures within defined parameters.
The system must be capable of producing up to 1,500 gallons of filtered potable water per day, with a dechlorination unit providing at least 2,000 gallons of dechlorinated water daily. Specific technical requirements include RO skid dimensions of 60 x 27.3 x 37.45 inches, electrical power circuits of 240VAC 3-phase and 120VAC 1-phase, a 1.5-hp Clean-In-Place pump, a 55-gallon polyethylene tank, and a 6-gpd chemical feeder with a 35-gallon tank. The system must include multiple alarms such as motor overload, low inlet pressure, low permeate flow, and high permeate conductivity.
