STATEMENT OF WORK
McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge South Location
Limestone Road Base
RT #102, Clam Lake Gravel Rd., Asset # 10072875
1. General:
1.1 McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge needs 2,325 tons (not-to-exceed) of Grade A limestone road base delivered to McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge. Roads are combination of maintenance roads and improved all-weather rocked roads. Refuge staff will specify turnaround locations to avoid unnecessary environmental damages and violations of the law.
Any limestone road base delivered to McFaddin NWR exceeding the required 2,325 tons shall be at the expense of the contractor.
1.2 Purpose/End Application: Procure and deliver no more than 2,325 tons of Grade
A limestone road base to McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge.
• Contractor Qualifications and Required Specifications: Deliver no more than
(2,325 ) tons of Grade A limestone road base via belly dump trailers
• Spread dump Grade A limestone road base with belly dump trailers on existing improved and unimproved roads
• Run time will be from 7:00am till 4:30pm Monday thru Friday
• Will only be allowed to turn around in specified locations as determined by refuge staff
• Will end deliveries at or less than 2,325 tons
2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance: McFaddin National Wildlife
Refuge –
2.1 Delivery coordinates will be: 29°41'21.39"N, 94° 9'28.13"W
2.2 Period of Performance is July 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026.
2.3 Normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information.
2.4 Non-duty hours include week nights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year’s
Day, Martin Luther King JR.s’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
3. Deliverables and/or Delivery Schedule:
Contractor and refuge management must coordinate timing of a minimum of fifty (50) loads per day at least 24 hours prior to delivery.

5. Evaluation and Acceptance
The contractor will be evaluated as detailed. Government acceptance is contingent upon:
Delivery of Grade A Limestone Road Base.
