2021 Statement of Work Haskell Indian Nations University

Campus Wide Cleaning Services

Background

Haskell Indian Nations University, located in Lawrence, Kansas is seeking a cleaning service company to provide services by cleaning our community restrooms in the residential halls.

Haskell serves members of federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native Nations as authorized by congress and in partial fulfillment of treaty and trust obligations. With student learning as its focus. Haskell embraces the principles of sovereignty and self-determination through a culturally based holistic lifelong learning environment that promotes and upholds respect, rights and responsibility.

Haskell has an average enrollment of 900 students each semester.

Objectives

The primary objective is to ensure the safety, health and welfare of our students, resident hall and University buildings.

Scope

The University will provide the best possible learning and living accommodations with emphasis reflecting on care, welfare, safety & security for our American Indian/Alaskan Native Students.

Our goal is to provide facilities that are well maintained to ensure a safe and sanitary environment conducive to study.

Haskell Indian Nations University requires the services of a cleaning company/contractor to perform the requirements for Task Order contract. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, chemicals and supervision for the purpose of cleaning and sanitizing of showers, bathtubs, commodes, sinks and bathroom floor and other areas on the campus. Contractor will dispose of any used cleaning supplies, trash etc.

and clean up all work areas. Contractor will supply all equipment to power wash, clean and sanitize all community restrooms. Contractor must be company employees with experience in the type of work and cleaning being requested. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with this statement of work, contract terms and conditions, specifications and any special requirement conditions provided. Work shall be done in a neat and workman like manner. Contractor is responsible for any damage to the building caused by cleaning.

Female employee to clean/sanitize the women’s restrooms. Male employee to clean/sanitize the men’s restroom.

Have 4 stalls open for men & women to access during the cleaning where needed.

Schedule for restrooms to be clean/sanitized in Residence Halls only (Pocahontas, Osceola/Keokuk and Winona):

Mon. thru Friday 3 times a day (6 am, 12 noon, 6 pm) Week-ends 2 times a day (8 am & 6 pm)

Tasks

Pocahontas Hall – Men Only Bldg. #2 2455 Creek Dr.

Clean & sanitize the commodes, sinks, mirrors, countertops, showers, shower curtains, exhaust vents & bathroom floors.

Clean the shower stalls by using a power washer to remove soap scum.

Clean baseboards & air vents.

Clean blood or body fluid spills Clean doors & walls.

Clean & empty sanitary receptacle Clean windows inside and window sills Schedule for restrooms to be clean/sanitized:

Mon. thru Friday 3 times a day (6 am, 12 noon, 6 pm) Week-ends 2 times a day (8 am & 6 pm)

Osceola/Keokuk Hall – Co-Ed Bldg. #108 2320 Barker Ave.

Clean & sanitize the commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops, showers, shower curtains, exhaust vents & bathroom floors.

Clean the shower stalls by using a power washer to remove soap scum.

Clean baseboards & air vents.

Clean blood or body fluid spills Clean doors & walls.

Clean & empty sanitary receptacle Clean windows inside and window sills Schedule for restrooms to be clean/sanitized:

Coffin Complex Bldg.#129 _515 Indian Avenue______ Clean & sanitize the commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops, showers, shower curtains, exhaust vents & bathroom floors in the Varsity and Visiting Team Locker Rooms. (Daily) Clean the all shower stalls by using a power washer to remove soap scum. (weekly) Clean & sanitize the commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors and countertops in Main Lobby Restrooms. (Daily) Clean baseboards & air vents. – every two weeks Clean blood or body fluid spills – spot clean Clean doors Clean & empty sanitary receptacle – once a week

Clean windows inside and window sills – once a week Clean & sanitize the floors, mirrors, and window/sills in the cardio and weight rooms. (once daily) Clean & sanitize the floors in the Athletic Training Room (once daily)

Library/Tommaney Hall______________Bldg. #_127 2450 Creek Dr.___________

Clean all bathrooms, deep clean all commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, floors – twice a day.

Clean doors and handles on all entrance doors – interior and exterior – twice a day.

Navarre Hall Bldg. #121 2525 Shawnee Avenue______________

Clean all bathrooms and sanitize all floors, commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops all tile on walls/floors (twice a day) Clean all exterior and interior door entrances and exits all doors and handles (twice a day) Clean/sanitize Regents Room tables and doors (once a day) Clean/sanitize Room 114 tables and doors (once a day)

Tecumseh Bldg. #10 2445 Choctaw Avenue_____________

Clean and sanitize all bathrooms, floors, commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops and all tile (once a day) Clean and sanitize entry hall and all entrance/exit doors (once a day)

Stidham Union Bldg. #111 400 Indian Avenue_______________

Clean and sanitize all bathrooms, floors, commodes, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops and all tile (once a day) Clean and sanitize entry way, hall all entrance exit doors (once a day)

Security
