The contractor must be qualified and authorized to work on JCB equipment and is responsible for compliance with OSHA, EPA regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal, and state workers' compensation and liability insurance requirements. Contractor proposals must include proof of JCB qualification and authorization, replacement engine specifications, a complete firm-fixed-price quote with applicable core charge credit, and the maximum core charge credit for the removed engine. The Government will conduct final inspection upon completion, and payment will be processed only after all performance deficiencies are corrected. Additional work beyond the contract scope requires prior approval from an appointed Contracting Officer and is at the contractor's financial risk if performed without authorization.
