The park’s Road’s Maintenance program has been approved to carry out a paint striping project on Pinto Basin Road (Park RT 11) and to restripe all parking areas. Edge line will need to be swept before painting can begin. This project requires a rental broom which the park does not possess. Examples of acceptable equipment are an enclosed cab Broce Broom or Laymor Sweepmaster. The vehicle chosen for this contract must be constructed specifically for motorized sweeping operations.

The contracting company must have available mechanic support should the broom have a maintenance issue that requires attention. Installation of replacement brushes will be required due to normal usage. Cost of replacement brushes will be paid for through contract funds.
