Salient Characteristics of the: Combine
· Warranty
· One year warranty on parts and labor.
· Engine must have a minimum of 2-year or 2,000-hour warranty
· Brand Name or Equal
· Kincaid Equipment Manufacturing so that the heads of current equipment will fit.
Specification utilized:
a) Contractor shall deliver a new combine to 3714 Western Ave, Brookings, SD 57006.
· Specifications of the combine and service include the following:
(1) Engine – minimum of 130 HP
(2) 4WD
(3) Row Head, 3 Row, 20 inch
(4) Full air with sample to Cab; Dual positive displacement blowers
(5) Single H2 Grain Gage; must be able to slide grain gage into the bin for transport and slide out for harvest mode
(6) Data Coll, Harvest Master, H2 and H3 Single?
(7) Must have a minimum of 49cc hydraulic pump to operate hydraulics on the combine
(8) Must have straw chopper on rear of machine to eliminate heavy residue build up
(9) Weight package assembly must be installed in the rear of the combine for balance of the combine for the corn head and row crop head
(10) Provide 4 camera system and 1 monitor to observe combine at all times and angles
(12) Must be able to change cylinder speed, fan speed, and concave setting from controls on a digital screen in-cab
(13) Must have a rear manual adjustable sieve screen
(14) Three straw walkers in the rear of the machine
(15) Must be a primarily belt over hydraulic driven system for easy diagnostics and less downtime during harvest.
(16) Parts for combine must equal or be greater than 90% available in the United States
(17) Service technicians must be able to be on-site within 48 hours of a phone call to service machine
(18) Must be able to provide a full day (8 hours) minimum for training of combine at no additional cost
(19) Feeder house must be chain driven to bring grain into combine, as opposed to center conveyor belt driven feeder house to bring grain to combine (20) Headers for combine must be belt driven off a pulley and not hydraulic drive
(21) Service techs must be on-site within 48 hours of a phone call to assist owner
(22) Combine must have a 1 year manufacturing warranty
(23) Engine must have a minimum of 2-year or 2,000-hour warranty
