About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for renovating the break room at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise, Idaho. The project involves purchasing and installing new cabinets and solid surface countertops in the 205-Paraloft (PAR) break room, which is approximately 144 sq. ft. The contractor will fabricate frameless cabinets using Formica Earthen Twill laminate with specific construction requirements, including ¾" particleboard core and European-style concealed hinges. The countertops will be Corian Pebble Lane solid surface material, ½" thick, with a straight configuration and slightly eased edges.

The project has a 60-calendar day performance period, with work to be completed during normal business hours (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday). The contractor must adhere to strict security protocols at the secure NIFC facility, including providing government-issued photo ID, wearing visitor badges, and submitting a personnel list. The installation requires professional workmanship, dust control, and maintaining building emergency access. The contractor will be responsible for precise cabinet and countertop installation, including leveling, seam alignment, and applying sealant. A one-year minimum installation warranty is required, beginning at final project acceptance.
