SAFETY PLAN

The Contractor shall submit a Safety Plan for in accordance with the PWS.

SCHEDULE C

FILTER SCHEDULE

Furnish and install replacement media for the following air filters.

All Air Handling Units and Packaged units - Make FOUR (4) media changes per annum.

All VAV boxes (where applicable) and fan coil units - Make TWO (2) media changes per annum.

IT IS FURTHER AGREED that should experience show that additional or more frequent changes are required such charges will be made after mutual consent at the established selling prices per additional filter changes.

SCHEDULE D

BOILER/CHILLER WATER TREATMENT:

Provide water treatment service on the following heating water and chilled water systems including the services listed below:

a. To make an analysis of the heating water and chilled water systems to determine the proper kind and amount of additives needed.

b. To furnish needed additives in the amounts required.

c. To provide the necessary labor to inspect the heating water and chilled water systems as required.

d. To furnish the necessary labor to add the correct compounds (chilled water shall be 30% propylene glycol solution).

e. To make periodic water analysis and submit a report of our findings to the Government.

SIDE STREAM FILTERS:

The contractor shall monthly, during the heating season, check the condition of the hot water system side stream filters, and clean or replace the filter bags as required. Replacement filter bags shall be

Neptune 20-micron nylon mesh. The filters to be maintained are: SSF-205-B-1, SSF-217-1-1, SSF-217-1-2, and, SSF-217-1-3.

The contractor shall monthly, during the cooling season, check the condition of the chilled water system side stream filters, and clean or replace the filter bags as required. Replacement filter bags shall be

Neptune 20-micron nylon mesh. The filters to be maintained are: SSF-217-1-4 and SSF-234-1-1.

SCHEDULE E

CONTROL CALIBRATION: The contractor shall have a minimum of ten years of experience with the types of building automation system (BAS) controller types (i.e. – Robert Shaw, BACnet, and LON) and standalone controls (i.e. – Johnson Controls parallel fan box controllers) listed in ATTACHMENT A. The contractor shall have access to the desktop PC in the Annex computer room which has the BAS programming software and access to the BAS graphic screens. Remote access will not be provided. The contractor shall calibrate and verify the operation of the following types of control systems:

1. Mechanical Operated Components: Calibrate mechanical devices annually. Components used for cooling equipment shall be calibrated at the beginning of the cooling season and components used for heating shall be calibrated at the beginning of the heating season.

A. Check the calibration of all system pressure gauges with a pressure gauge that is calibrated correctly. If the system pressure gauge is out of calibration, adjust if possible. Otherwise, replace the system pressure gauge.

B. Check the calibration of all system temperature gauges with a temperature gauge that is calibrated correctly. If the system temperature gauge is out of calibration, adjust if possible. Otherwise, replace the system temperature gauge.

C. Check the calibration of all system thermometers with a thermometer that is calibrated correctly. If the system thermometer is out of calibration, adjust if possible. Otherwise, replace the system thermometer.

D. Flow meters shall be calibrated using the differential pressure across a balancing valve. Use the appropriate manufacturer’s literature to calibrate the flow meters.

2. Pneumatic Operated Controls: Calibrate pneumatic control devices annually. Components used for cooling equipment shall be calibrated at the beginning of the cooling season and components used for heating shall be calibrated at the beginning of the heating season.

A. Check main control air pressure at all control panels and adjust as required. If main control air pressure cannot be adjusted properly, check all pneumatic tubing and other devices upstream to determine the problem and repair.

B. Operate all pneumatic controlled devices to their full range of operation. If a device will not move its full range of operation either repair or replace as required.

C. Check all temperature control air filters. Clean or replace filers if required. Drain water from temperature control air filters.

D. Inspect all pneumatic actuators for condition. If an actuator appears to be poor condition, disassemble it and verify its condition. Repair or replace as required to maintain operation.

E. Calibrate all pneumatic room thermostats and adjust set points. Operate the thermostat to be sure it will control the pneumatic components controlled by it to their full range.

3. Electric Operated Controls: Calibrate electric control devices annually. Components used for cooling equipment shall be calibrated at the beginning of the cooling season and components used for heating shall be calibrated at the beginning of the heating season.

A. Operate all electric controlled devices to their full range of operation. If a device will not move its full range of operation either repair or replace as required.

B. Calibrate all electric room thermostats and adjust set points. Operate the thermostat to be sure it will control the components controlled by it to their full range.

C. Inspect all electric actuators for condition. If an actuator appears to be poor condition, disassemble it and verify its condition. Repair or replace as required to maintain operation.

4. DDC Systems: Calibrate DDC system components annually. Components used for cooling equipment shall be calibrated at the beginning of the cooling season and components used for heating shall be calibrated at the beginning of the heating season.

A. Verify the calendar schedule is correct and the clock within the computer is correct. If these items are not correct, adjust or contact personnel capable of changing the DDC schedule.

B. Check all control sequences by operating them to their full range of operation. Adjust sequences or contact personnel who can change sequences.

C. Calibrate all temperature and pressure sensors. Adjust sensors or replace as required.

D. Create back-up files for all control sequences
