About this file
This document is a justification for a sole source award of a firm fixed price contract for Motorola Advanced Services for maintenance and support of the Land Mobile Radio system at Tobyhanna Army Depot. The contract would provide remote maintenance and support services including network software upgrades, 24/7 network event monitoring, annual preventative maintenance, routine test and alignment, monthly preventative maintenance inspections for radio frequency equipment, network hardware repair, and advanced replacement of spares from Motorola's inventory. The estimated value of the base year and four 1-year options, plus one 6-month option, is redacted with an anticipated award date of March 16, 2023. The award would be made on a non-competitive basis pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) to maintain the existing unique Motorola Astro P25 trunked network critical to force protection, emergency response, and mutual aid at Tobyhanna Army Depot.
