About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Norfolk requesting contractor services for the tear down and removal of a Raymond SB-CSR30T material handling equipment.

The work will be performed at Norfolk Naval Station, Building Y-109, and involves the complete disassembly and removal of one Raymond SB-CSR30T unit that has been non-mission capable (NMC) for over five years and is beyond economical repair. The contractor shall provide all necessary repair materials, personnel, and equipment to accomplish the tear down and removal, including the removal of all fluids from the asset. Following disassembly completion, DLA Distribution Norfolk Transportation Department will provide a government trailer for loading of the disassembled equipment. The project justification indicates the asset occupies valuable warehouse space needed for customer materials and creates a hazardous environment attracting rodents. The estimated cost for this service is $3,650.00. The SOW was issued January 27, 2026, and is signed by Mark McKibben, Facilities Support Director, DLA Distribution Norfolk.
