This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing for a Statewide Cooperative Contract for Canned Foods, solicitation #NS21-65. The RFP seeks to establish a five-year contract with multiple vendors to provide canned and preserved food products for various state entities, including school districts, counties, cities, charter schools, state agencies, corrections facilities, and human services departments. The solicitation was open from May 19, 2021, to June 16, 2021, with an anticipated multiple award approach to ensure statewide coverage. The State of Utah Division of Purchasing does not guarantee any specific purchase amount under the future contract. Vendors were evaluated based on a comprehensive scoring system, with a minimum combined technical and cost score of 3,208 points (70% of total possible points) required for contract eligibility.
