Contractors were required to have spark-arresting equipment, fire suppression capabilities, and wash vehicles to prevent noxious weed spread. The project emphasizes careful tree removal while preserving certain species like Ponderosa Pine and avoiding damage to browse species, streams, roads, and other infrastructure.
