About this file

This document is an Amendment #1 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #9789 for Portable Restroom Rental and Service at Luckiamute Management Unit in Oregon. The jurisdictions involved are Polk County and the City of Salem. The scope of work includes servicing government-owned standard and handicap portable toilets, as well as servicing above-ground 300-gallon wastewater holding tanks, at three locations. The service frequency varies by location and season, ranging from once per week during the peak season to twice per month during the off-season. The pricing proposal form indicates that the unit price, unit cost, and total cost will be the same per line item, as the quantity is listed as 1.

Regarding pricing, the document indicates that the agency is open to the bidder's preferred format for presenting pricing information on the form. No mention is made of any set-asides, incumbent, or funding sources. The document focuses on clarifying the service requirements and preferences for the portable restroom and wastewater holding tank services.

Amendment #1 to

ITB # 9789

• Looking at the scope of work – for the 3 toilet locations, are you looking for the vendor to also rent the toilets or just service government owned units? Just service the units

• Service frequency – Are you looking for once a week service? It depends on the time of year, weather, visitation, etc.

LSNA office: June – Oct? 1xweek. Oct -May no service 70 gallons may be one or two there, depending on weather/visitation LSNA North Oct? 1x week. Oct -May 2x month 70 gallons Grand Island May - Oct? 1x week 70 gallons

• For the wastewater holding tanks – do you have the gallon sizes for these 2 locations 300 gallons, above ground poly tanks

• Service frequency – like above – is this once per week? yes

• Pricing Proposal form – The way I am reading the grid unit price, unit cost and Total cost will all be the same per line as the quantity is ‘1’. Is that correct or would you like to see it a different way? That works for me.

• What are the types of toilets on site (Handicap, Standard)? Standard, but occasionally need to rent handicap ones for events

• What is the expected level of service (weekly, twice a week)? Once per week

• How big are the waste tanks on site for the 2 hosts? I think these are the same question, unless I am reading I wrong.
