a. The purpose of this amendment is to:

(1) Extend the completed past performance questionnaire and quotation due date outlined in Sections L.4.3.4.1 and L.7.4, respectively; and

(2) Respond to the latest questions received. No more questions will be answered. The question due date has expired.

b. Section L.4.3.4.1 is changed to read as follows:

d. Attachment J-8, Past Performance Questionnaire, paragraph 7, the due date is changed to read “July 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.”:

e. Response to Latest Questions Received.

Question #1: How many times per days do meals need to be delivered? Are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all delivered separately multiple times per day?

Response: Refer to solicitation section F.3 which identifies the time of delivery for each required meal and snack.

Question #2: Do meals need to arrive pre heated and ready for service or does the center have the capacity to heat their own meals?

Response: Refer to solicitation sections:

(1) C.4.5.1 which identifies the required temperature “…from the time of preparation to the time of human consumption for hot food items”; and

(2) C.4.5.2 which states, “The Contractor shall delivery [sic] all meals in food transporting carts that will ensure the meals are delivered at the proper temperatures.”

As stated in the above two sections, the temperature must be the same from time of preparation to human consumption/delivery, thereby meaning the meal is already at the appropriate temperature at the time of delivery for human consumption. Also note that solicitation section C.4.5.1.1. addresses transport requirements for cold meals.
