About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number 9531CB22R0011 from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The Bureau seeks a vendor to provide trended, long-term data on personal loan and credit card originations, outstanding loan balances, and delinquency rates split by credit risk tier and originating entity type. Staff will use this aggregated data on consumer credit trends, small dollar lending, and credit cards on a recurring basis to produce market intelligence products. Vendors should ensure their NAICS code aligns with their representations and certifications and note pricing is based on daily data ingestion rates, requiring a sizing exercise to determine total costs.

Questions and Answers (9531CB22R0011)

1. Does CFPB need the vendor solution to query data during the “45 days after the end of the previous month”?

This language has been updated in the Amendment.

2. The vendor solution prices its quote based on daily data ingestion rate (and professional services). As a result, a sizing exercise is needed to determine how much data needs to ingest into the vendor solution, in order to determine the total cost. How do you recommend submitting information to meet this requirement?

CFPB is looking for aggregate data for the entire personal loan market as reported to the credit bureaus. Thus, the agency is looking for aggregate data, not loan level (which would be a gigantic database. Vendors should ensure that the NAICS code aligns with their reps and certs.
