USAGM Solicitation 951700-24-R-0038 Amendment P00001

Continuation Sheet to SF 30 Block 14

Subject: Amendment P00001 to RFP 951700-24-R-0038, USAGM Thailand Transmitting Station, Rasom, Ayutthaya, Thailand Janitorial Services:

This amendment serves to provide offeror’s questions received, and USAGM’s responses to all potential offerors.

Question 1: What are the average personnel and visitors per week/monthly? This is for a burn rate of supplies.

USAGM Response: Please refer to the RFP section C.1.3 Standard type of services and C.3.0 Locations for Janitorial services for the required janitorial tasks. The number of personnel would be in the range of 30-40. However, the number of visitors should not be a major concern for this janitorial contract.

Question 2: My company is a Thai firm, am I going to receive payment in currency of Thai Baht sir?

USAGM Response: Yes, payments will be made in Thai Baht.

QUESTION 3: The cleaning chemical and consumable such as tissue paper or other, which type or which kind that USAGM THAILAND Transmitting Station accept? Can I use the trustable local Thailand brand or use a kind of biodegradable type for this project sir?

USAGM Response: The biodegradable type for this project is preferred however it is not a requirement. All cleaning chemical and consumable supplies must be approved by COR.

Question 4: For DBA insurance, do I have to pay upfront and send the bill to USAGM TTS to pay me back directly or do I have to collect money back from the monthly price that I charge sir?

USAGM Response: The contractor will pay the DBA insurance up front annually, and submit it in the corresponding invoice for payment/reimbursement.

Question 5: On section L it says “and another file where the offeror can submit the rest of the documentation as well as the technical portion, etc. The proposal shall not exceed 35 pages” the Annex II filled out and signed by a person with signing authority (9 page) and resumes for key personnel are not included in page count, is that accurate sir?

USAGM Response: Yes, that is accurate.

Question 6: I would like to inquire about the number of permanent staff members at the station, the daily working hours, and the number of days worked per week, if I may.

USAGM Response: Please refer to the RFP section “C.1.3 Standard type of services” for the required janitorial tasks and “C.3.0 Locations for Janitorial services” for the normal working hours. Due to security reason, we cannot provide the number of staff members.

Question 7: Can be the contractors refunded the insurance fee from USAGM. If yes, how long can we be refunded.

USAGM Response: Only the DBA insurance can be refunded by submitting an actual invoice.
