The Philippines is in various steps to transition from ECQ (Luzon wide, pre 15 May) to Modified ECQ(Manila thru 31 May) or to GCQ(Tarlac area including USAGM). Many restrictions have been lifted for businesses in certain sectors provided they have suitable safety protocols. See attached “0513 IATF Transition from ECQ”. In anticipation of approval to proceed, all interested parties and/or prospective offerors wishing to attend the Janitorial Services site visit scheduled on 4 June 2020, please be advised:
Due to CDC and GOP requirements with regard to Social Gathering Limitations, we must ensure that the Site Visits adhere to these restrictions. As such, Offerors, please forward the name and Title/Position of 1, but no more than 2, personnel who will be attending the site visit no later than 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2020. (Note: Philippine station time is calculated as GMT + 8 hours) Depending on the aggregate number of attendees, site visits will be assigned to keep the group levels at or below 10, of which, 2 will be reserved for station personnel leading the tours. The times and groups will be first come first serve and, depending on the numbers, may include any flexibility allowable if a certain time is preferred. Attendees will be informed of the assigned Site Visit Time slot, 1 June 2020 via email. No site access will be given if attendees arrive otherwise.
Time of visits: 9:00AM to 11:00AM with an alternate times of 12:00 noon to 2:00PM and 2:30PM to 4:30PM. The station visitors’ tour will start promptly by 9:30AM, 12:30PM, and 3:00PM respectively.
Please allow ample time (30 minutes) to check in and receive visitor badges at our Security Gate 2.
The location can be found using Google Maps; Voice of America, Concepcion, Tarlac, Philippines. The US Embassy will not issues special certifications to allow travel to this site visit. While travel restriction may still affect abilities for attendance, the following recommendations are suggested: Practice social distancing; Wear face masks; Use Company Shuttle; Carry company issued ID’s as these will support claims or provide proof or justification when authorities ask for the nature of or reason for your travel;
Use “VOA” as the destination rather than USAGM as most are not yet acquainted with our new name;
Travel with any Barangay issued travel permits which support or state the nature of your firms business.
All questions need to be presented in writing to the Contracting Officer as detailed in solicitation 951700-20-R-0007.
