About this file

This document provides responses to questions for the Department of Education Small Business Innovation Research Phase II 2020 solicitation. The solicitation seeks proposals for the further development of education technology products in priority areas including use by students or teachers in authentic education settings, by infants/toddlers or students with disabilities in early intervention or special education settings, or by school administrators in authentic or special education settings. Phase II awards of up to $900,000 will be made for periods of up to two years to expand on Phase I research and development and further pursue commercialization. The response document clarifies that the $50,000 in available technical assistance funds comes out of the total $900,000 Phase II budget, and that offerors have discretion around naming individuals versus services in their proposed budgets. The closing date for proposals is March 16, 2020.
