• Questions and Answers provided below:

QUESTION 1

On page 2 of the draft Standard Written agreement, the Term states the project is to be completed by June 30, 2024, but then states the project may be extended up to three years. Should we consider the target completion date June 30, 2024.

ANSWER 1 Yes, the term end date for this contract is June 30, 2024.

QUESTION 2

Will the contractor be given access to a RRSP vehicle, or will one be made available? Will the contractor be able to make modifications to this vehicle (color base, placement, size, and color of reflective markings and graphics).

ANSWER 2

We can make arrangements for the research team to inspect existing vehicle(s), but will not be providing a vehicle to be modified.

QUESTION 3

Are the current lighting bars used on the RRSP vehicles programmable (can they be programed to display varying colors, intensities, flash frequency, flash pattern)? If not, will the contractor be permitted to remove and install a new lighting bar on a RRSP vehicle?

ANSWER 3

Current light bars are equipped to display specific colors from specific portions of the lightbar. The intensity, frequency and pattern are options to be selected and programmed into the control module. All settings must be in compliance with SAE standards. Once programmed, these options may not be changed by the Road Ranger. Changes can only be made by connecting a laptop computer to the control module and reprogramming.

QUESTION 4

Are subcontracting organizations required to complete and submit the Drug-Free Workplace, Scrutinized Companies Lists, and E-Verify forms?

ANSWER 4 No, only the prime vendor is required to submit these forms.
