About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for ITS Data Services. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide services at various fixed public Wi-Fi sites, fixed weigh station Wi-Fi sites, mobile sites, and a fixed data services site for ITS network management. The contract is anticipated to have an initial term of 5 years, with the possibility of renewal.
The RFP outlines the scope of services required, including monthly management, primary and secondary data services, and optional tertiary data services at the various sites. It also details the maintenance concept, with requirements for normal and emergency maintenance responses. The RFP includes specific instructions for the technical and price proposal submissions, as well as the evaluation criteria, which will be based on technical and price scoring. The RFP imposes certain administrative requirements, such as the need for vendors to be registered in MyFloridaMarketPlace and comply with Florida Statutes regarding scrutinized companies and public records.
