This document is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Traffic Cones, Bid No. DOT-ITB-24-9043-SJ. The addendum revises the timeline for the solicitation, with a new bid due date of November 15, 2023, at 9:00 AM EST, and a public opening on November 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM EST. The addendum also incorporates additional language regarding expedited delivery requirements, where traffic cones must be received within 24 hours of notification in emergency situations. The solicitation is open to all registered vendors in the MyFloridaMarketplace system, and any out-of-state corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships must be authorized to do business in Florida.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum by completing and returning the form provided. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The contract will be subject to the MFMP Transaction Fee, and vendors on the Scrutinized Companies Lists will not be eligible to bid. The contract must also comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other nondiscrimination statutes and authorities.
