About this file
This is a Pricing and Delivery Schedule document for Request for Proposal (RFP) 745-26-P15 issued by The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA) for Beverage Vending Machines services. UTHSA seeks to procure carbonated and non-carbonated beverage vending services across approximately 22 separate sites, including the main campus facility at 7703 Floyd Curl Drive, the Multispecialty Research Hospital at 8311 Ewing Halsell Drive, and various satellite facilities throughout San Antonio. The contract will commence on the effective date and expire on August 31, 2027, with provisions for extension up to five additional years by written agreement between UTHSA and the contractor. UTHSA does not guarantee any specific amount of compensation, volume, minimum, or maximum amount of services under this RFP.
Proposers must submit hourly rates and titles for all team members associated with the account, with rates remaining firm throughout the contract term and all renewals. All quoted rates must be all-inclusive, covering labor, equipment, materials, fees, overhead, profit, insurance, licenses, incidentals, and related costs. Reasonable expenses including meals, rental cars or mileage, coach class airfare, and lodging will be reimbursed without markup if approved in advance by UTHSA, subject to Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts travel reimbursement rates, and capped at a mutually agreed maximum. UTHSA's standard payment terms are net 30 days as mandated by the Texas Prompt Payment Act. Proposers should describe available discounts, provide a schedule for task completion and deliverable submittal, and submit detailed invoices electronically to AP-einvoice@uthscsa.edu. All services require a valid purchase order, and UTHSA is exempt from Texas Sales & Use Tax. Payments will be made through electronic funds transfer methods, including ACH or single-use account cards.
