About this file

This document provides a wage determination for a service contract supporting operations and maintenance at the Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station in Alaska. The contract involves project management, administrative operations and maintenance, technical requirements, security, janitorial services, and is covered by collective bargaining agreements between the incumbent contractor ASTS, Inc. and local crafts and Teamsters unions. Prevailing wages are set according to the current agreements. The Fairbanks station acquires meteorological and environmental data from NOAA polar-orbiting satellites, and must remain operational 24/7/365 with mission-essential functions maintained at all times. The contractor provides specialized satellite ground station equipment operation and repair as well as facility, vehicle, road and infrastructure maintenance. Additional requirements include administrative support, IT, shipping and receiving, property management, documentation, environmental and safety compliance, and configuration management. Security services and facility maintenance are also required.
