Amendment 1

Changes to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES - Paragraph 2, change sentence:

FROM: GSA will require the use of Masterspec, including the GSA supplement in the most current edition. The GSA version of the AIA Masterspec is the authorized master guide specification for GSA, Public Building Service.

TO: All specifications prepared under this contract shall be prepared utilizing the American Institute of Architects’ Masterspec 2004 Version of the 50-Division Master Format Construction System or other approved source for specifications produced according to the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) division format.

2. NOTICE TO OFFERORS – change sentence:

FROM: EVALUATION CRITERIA TO BE APPLIED IN THE SELECTION PROCESS IN

DESCENDING ORDER OF IMPORTANCE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

TO: EVALUATION CRITERIA TO BE APPLIED DURING THE STAGE I SELECTION

3. NOTICE TO OFFERORS – change sentence:

FROM: Following the interviews, up to five (5) firms will be considered to be the most highly qualified to perform the services. This is considered to be the final selection of the competing firms. Upon final selection, the contracting officer is authorized to begin Stage II negotiations with the top-ranked firms.

TO: Following the interviews, up to five (5) firms will be considered the most highly qualified to perform the services and these firms will be issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) which is considered the authorization to begin Stage II negotiations. This is considered the final selection of the competing firms.

4. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION – change sentence:

FROM: Standard Form 330s will be evaluated to determine the most highly qualified firms based on criteria responses.

TO: Standard Form 330s will be evaluated during Stage I to determine the most highly qualified firms based on criteria responses.
