Questions & Answers for RFQ89603023Q0001 Data Center Cleaning Service

1. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation states that “a written solicitation (SF-1449) will not be issued”. . . The provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition

Q: Do you want a SF1449 to be turned in with the quote? Should I download it and get it back to you?

A: Offerors are not required to turn in their quotes on the SF1449.

2. Q: How do you want that quote submitted to you? PDF, Word or Docx?

A: Either PDF or MS Word would be fine. Please ensure to submit the quote via email to the

Contracting Officer Hyunsue Kim at hyunsue.kim@ferc.gov.

3. Q: a) Is this a new requirement or contract renewal?

b) If re-compete, what is the current contract number? and who is the incumbent?

c) What is the contract award amount?

d) What is the reason for replacement?

A: a) This is a re-compete.

b) 89603018P0003 Comp Clean Inc.

c) Total contract value (for 5 Years) is $29,995.00.

d) The current contract expires on 12/3/2022.

4. Q: Will there be a site visit scheduled for this solicitation?

A: FERC will be available on Thursday, 11/10/2022 between 1PM and 4PM and on Monday, 11/14/2022 between 11AM and 4PM for on-site visits; please confirm if you would like to come during this time via email to the Contracting Officer Representative Chalonda Curtis at chalonda.curtis@ferc.gov with the names of individuals planning to come for a site visit and time.

5. Q: Would this contract pay on Net 30 Terms? If it is on any other payment terms, which terms the payments for the services would be on?

A: Yes

6. Q: Will any equipment and/or specific cleaning solution be provided at the facility? (e.g. HEPA filtered vacuum cleaner)

A: FERC will not provide equipment nor cleaning solution for cleaning. The areas to be cleaned are all on a raised floor with no carpet.

7. Q: Do you have any pictures of area to be serviced?

A: See Attached

8. Q: Is this solicitation only for interior work?

9. Q: How many windows to be cleaned? Will they require working at heights?

A: There are 5 glass surfaces\windows that require cleaning. No, they will not require working at height.

10. Q: Please confirm the space to be serviced is only the single data center per the Statement of

Work, and that there are not any other additional IDF or MDF rooms to be serviced?

A: Within the Data Center boundary, there are 5 smaller functional areas\rooms in addition to the larger open area that require to be serviced.

11. Q: What will be the access window for cleaning service deliveries? (i.e. Monday – Friday

Business Hours? Evenings? Weekends?)

A: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM.

12. Q: Does the data center have a fire suppression system? (it will need to be bypassed for cleaning service delivery)

A: Yes, there is a fire Suppression system, there are smoke detectors under the floor and in the ceiling.
