About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a PACS (Physical Access Control System) Refresh 2025 project. The Q&A covers critical implementation details for a security system upgrade involving Genetec Security Center integration. Key points include: 1) No existing Genetec system is currently in place, and the contract winner will assist in procuring necessary licenses, 2) All security components (video, access control, and intercom) will be Genetec-compatible and integrated into the Genetec Security Center, 3) One enrollment workstation will be configured with an enrollment reader and pivCLASS SDK license, and 4) A Streamvault SV-300E server will be deployed at Site E.

Additional project specifics include: on-site programming and configuration of all systems, 1-hour training sessions for each system type (camera, intercom, access control) conducted on-site in a small conference room, potential need for additional equipment to be determined during site inspection, and strict access requirements where all visitors/contract workers on SEPA grounds must have a visitor's badge and be escorted throughout the building. The winning bidder will be responsible for all tasks needed to bring the systems to 100% operational status and will receive access to all necessary resources for installation and configuration.
